1. All equipment remains the property of Elegant Effect( hereafter known as The Owner ).
2. During the hire period the Client shall be solely responsible for the hired goods. Shortages and damages will be charged for at current replacement cost.
3. The Owner will not be held responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property sustained from any goods under hire.
4. Goods must be available for collection as agreed with in the contract. Any aborted delivery / collection costs will be charged for.
5. Prices quoted are for one day hire only, excluding day of delivery and day of collection. Subsequent days will be charged at a daily rate unless a special agreement has been arranged prior to the event between the Owner and the Client.
6. Chair covers and napkins that are damaged beyond repair will be charged for at full replacement cost.
7. Cancellation must be received in writing or email. The following cancellation charges apply;
31+days prior to the event: 10% of total cost
30-15 days prior to the event: 50% of total cost
14-8 days prior to the events: 80% of total cost
7 days prior to the events: 100% of total cost
8. Final payment is required in full one week prior to the event. Unless payment is
received as per the contract the goods will not be dispatched.
9. A deposit of 10% is required upon confirmation of the order as to book the stock for the required date.
